Play is a social club, artist collective, and nightlife preservation project based in Brooklyn, New York.

Play exists as a resistance & reset of the nightlife experience. A space built for the people who treat dance as a medium for expression, transformation, and release.

Operating across warehouse locations with no fixed address, Play is a curated experience for the people who actually use the room. The dancers, the producers, the DJs, the designers, the performers, the nightlife devoted.

Nightlife Preservation Play protects the conditions that make dancefloors sacred. High-quality sound. Considered lighting. Curated lineups shared only with members. Every detail in service of the room and the people in it.

Artist Infrastructure Play provides a working context for the people who shape the night. The collective operates as a rotating creative unit - resident and guest DJs, producers, designers, dancers, and performers. Each event is a different configuration of the same network.

Membership & Access Play operates on a recommendation basis. Applications are open on a rolling basis to dancers, DJs, producers, designers, performers, nightlife professionals, and those who engage with the space with intention.
